Episode 2
Justification Part 1
Salvation is something that Satan cannot steal from us so what he steals is our joy.
Christians are motivated by a lot of weird things like material things, recognition, having the biggest church in town but being excited about our salvation and what God did for us as well as being in a place where our hearts stand in awe of God's words should help motivate us in our daily walk.
Justification does not just mean forgiveness of sins. It means Forgiveness of Sins and being declared righteous.
Because Romans is an Acts period epistle, the apostle Paul was ushering in the dispensation of Grace to a crowd who was primarily used to the Law. During that period, Paul had to deal with a few groups of people. He dealt with the Jews first that’s why he would always go to the synagogues. Then he would deal with jews who were saved under the law period called the little flock. Then he talked to people like us, Gentiles who were without the law.
Doing the works of the Law brings in the Righteousness which is of the Law and this does not satisfy Gods plan. It has to be the Righteousness which is of God.
